The Brief

A full renovation of a five storey residential property on Lansdown, in stages .

The Project

The initial stage was to make the building operational and functional and focus on repairing and updating the ground floor to create a beautiful entrance, hallway, kitchen-dining room and cloakroom.

The ground floor required significant tlc to both the joists and supporting structures and we then implemented sound separation system to reduce transfer range with their basement flat for rental purposes.

After what looked like 50+ years of neglect and poor quality additions, the building was long-overdue for some renovation, particularly with the services and modernisation, not sure we have seen many such extreme examples of poor building practices!

Very happy with the result and again lucky to work for and with such lovely clients, particularly with some creative and interesting ideas and such attention to detail (ATD). The result of their patience and ATD, Ben’s kitchen our construction has come together to create a really stunning result & happy to play our part.
